What is the Read More Link module?

The Read More Link module is a Drupal module that allows you to change the placement of the read more link, it gives you a lot of options and many great features to control the read more link formatting and placement

What features does the Read More Link module offer?

The read more link offers many capabilities including:

The ability to change the placement of the read more link from the links section to the end of the teaser
The ability to disable the read more link completely
The ability to customize the read more link text and formatting
The ability to set an HTML separator between the teaser and the read more link

Steps to install and configure the Read More link module:

Download the module from http://drupal.org/project/ed_readmore
Extract and copy the module directory to your sites/all/modules directory
Enable the module
Configure the module by going to yourdomain.com/admin/settings/ed_readmore
Select the "Remove read more link from links section" and choose a proper placement or disable it completely
If you select the Inline option you can specify where to place the read more link by choosing from the list in the Advanced options
You can configure the read more link text, its title and even specify a separator to use between the teaser and the read more link

As you can see the read more link is a very useful module with lots of nice features

You can use the Node: Link field in your view and specify the text you want for the link, this field will automatically provide a link to the node and you can name it Read More

i was wondered that it was posible to change "The Read More text to display in the teaser" to enable that the string "Read More" was displayed in several languajes, such as "Ver más", "See more", "En savoir plus" etc. Thanks

You don't do anything while creating the node, just configure the module as explained and it will work for all nodes

Hello, thanks for the helpful module. Do you have any idea how can i use read more into the Views when i define a Field with type: node:Teaser. It cuts all items up to Teaser point but without read more links. Thanks Dong
